Prime Minister told a news conference that security issues were not the topic of today’s meeting in Skopje, adding they were discussed in principle or perhaps in detail during the bilateral meetings.

“On the other thing, I believe it is important to share with you today that we are preparing a summit in Tirana for Ukraine, where President Zelensky will be invited,” Rama emphasized.

Asked about the topic of the upcoming summit, Rama said that “it is a summit in support of Ukraine that will discuss with the President of Ukraine and others the security challenges.”

In the meantime, he informed that “in addition, we will try to schedule the next meeting of the leaders of the region with today’s representatives as they will follow up this process of the European Commission and the US administration in order to take stock of this month from today until the end of February and to continue working and keep pace with the processes that are taking place in Europe today.”
