Minister Manastirliu was in the city of Vlora where she closely observed the vaccination process of the elderly over 70 years old. Among other things, Minister Manastirliu gave the good news for the start of the vaccination process for people over 60 years old.

“We must still be careful, because the vaccine has its own significance, but in any case people should abide by the measures against COVID 19 at all times,” Manastirliu told citizens in Vlora.

“I have a call for every elderly person over 70 years of age who has not yet been notified by the family doctor; with the identity card, they can appear at the centralized vaccination centers”, said Manastirliu.

Speaking about the continuation of the vaccination process, the minister of health said from Vlora that the vaccination process will extend to a another age-group. “We are working to reduce the bandage and we will follow our vaccination plan. It is very important that the family doctor continues to do his role, so that no citizen is left without vaccination “, stated Manastirliu.

The Minister of Health informed that the reservation for vaccination continues on the e-Albania portal and so far more than 17 thousand applications have been registered. A total of 172,486 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered since the start of vaccination19.
