The jury chaired by Albana Shtylla, with relator Mimoza Tasi and members Ina Rama, Natasha Mulaj and Sokol Çomo, after examining Shytko’s appeal against the Commission’s decision in the advisory room, decided to uphold the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission that on September 28 2022 had decided Shytko’s dismissal from office. The decision of the Special Appellate College was taken unanimously by the court.

Shytko was dismissed in the first instance due to the problems identified in the wealth criterion, an element he failed to argue even in the Special Appellate College, thus losing his job. He received positive evaluations in the other two criteria, purity of image and professionalism.

Shytko has been part of the judiciary since 1995. He has worked for more than 20 years as an investigator in the Prosecutor’s Office of Korça Judicial District./p.s./
