The Perseid meteor shower can be seen with the naked eye in this park, offering a complete natural tourism experience.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro also shared today images from the annual stargazing event organized by “Shebenik Egnatia Explorers”, in the Shebenik National Park, from where “the Perseid meteor shower is visible to the naked eye and the attractions of the park invite you to experience a complete natural tourism”.

Shebenik National Park has many natural monuments, declared or not, that can be visited by tourists and researchers.

Of interest is the Kosharishti Church built in a cave with figures and inscriptions from the II century BC, which should also be part of the guide for anyone who wants to visit Shebenik National Park.

This cave-church is located on a rock at a height of about 70 meters from the level of the Qarrishta River, where Saint Mary and the disciples were painted during a ceremony.

Also in Shebenik are the karst lakes, the lake of Studna Plain, Vlaska, Skanderbeg stairway and many other areas that await visitors.
