TIRANA, March 26 /ATA/- By Maela Marini/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the Socialist Party chairman, recalled the poor condition of schools in Shkodra, emphasizing that this is one of the reasons why Democratic parents should not vote for the “Great Alliance.”

During today’s presentation of the Socialist Party candidates for the Shkodra district, Rama recalled the dilapidated condition of the schools in Shkodra.

“Today, Benet and I visited the ‘Ndre Mjeda’ school construction site in the center of Shkodra. The smell of dampness still hangs in the air, not from the rain, but from the old structures; the ancient walls carry a musty, damp odor, characteristic of long-neglected buildings,” said Rama.
He remarked, “It is difficult to comprehend that Shkodra is the only city in Albania where not only such schools exist, but where all schools were in this condition until two years ago.”
Rama highlighted the stark contrast between Shkodra now and prior to Benet Beci took office as mayor.

Rama highlighted the dramatic transformation of Shkodra under Benet Beci’s leadership, contrasting the city’s previous state of decay with its current progress. He recalled how Shkodra once lied in ruins, with unsightly buildings and devoid of natural beauty, but now it is gradually thriving. Despite this progress, he criticized those who still seek votes with empty promises, describing them as acting in shameless manner asking for support for a “magnificent Shkodra.”
