This year’s edition included an enriched program featuring lectures, jazz and classical music performances by acclaimed local and international musicians.

The Rock Academy master-classes took place in several art and culture institutions in Shkodra, including the Art Gallery, the Historical Museum, the “Marin Barleti” Library and the Youth Atelier.

Shkodra Mayor Benet Beci congratulated the event organizers and participants, saying the Shkodra Jazz Festival makes Shkodra more attractive as a tourist destination.

The event aims at reviving the sense of cultural freedom in a city like Shkodra boasting of its early music and artistic tradition.
