Prime Minister Edi Rama published the morning images of Shiroka transformed beyond recognition.

Just 6 km from Shkodra, Shiroka under the shade of Tarabosh mountain and by the lake, the early fishing village looks enchanting.

The project “Albanian Carpet” by architect Hernandez, which won the first prize at the Loop Design Awards for 2021 in the category of landscape / public space, is another stunning public work on the city promenade.
Shiroka’s urban requalification project has turned it into a tourist attraction, which is open to entertainment and social activities in the service of the community.

The project included the restoration of 2000 m2 facades, the construction of 1500 m2 of new roofs, as well as the construction of 1700 m2 of space for public parking. The reconstructed space of the square encompasses 20,000 m2 in total. /j.p/sm/
