Durres Port Authority said that two ships with 4200 tons of goods are being handled, whereas one more freighter with 2500 tons of goods and two cargo ships with 3771 tons of goods and 607 container units are expected to be unloaded later today.

A total of 82 623 container units were handled at the containers terminal of Durres port in the first six months of 2023, recording an increase by 21% compared to the same period of the previous year.

New processing and container handling standards have been set with the online operative Navis 4 system already operational at Albania’s largest seaport of Durres.

Merchant ships transporting goods from/to Durres have so far sailed from/to 67 ports in 24 countries.
