Prime Minister Rama, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku and Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj held a conversation on Tuesday with representatives of Dutch businesses currently operating in Albania, as well as with other investors, interested in expanding their activity in our country.

In his remarks, Rama said that the Netherlands is quite present in Albania, even though it may seem a bit far.

“Here are some of the main actors of this presence and of a very important relationship for us, which we want to deepen and expand as much as possible,” said Rama.
Rama emphasized that “we have the pleasure and the privilege of having SHELL in our country.”

“We are very hopeful that soon we will be able to share with our public and regional opinion, but also beyond the region, a very important discovery that SHELL is about to make in our country. Like any good Dutchman, they refuse to talk but it seems like we may be about to witness a significant gas and oil discovery that will not only greatly impact the future of our country, but will also play a role in the energy future of Europe”, added Rama.
Next, the prime minister emphasized that “we are seeing a significant increase in the number of Dutch tourists recently.”
Rama said that the famous program “Wie is de Mol” has helped to show a different Albania even though their team was surprised because they did not expect to see the country they imagined.
