The Deputy Prime Minister noted that construction of the new educational facility was totally funded by the Albanian government under its post-earthquake Reconstruction Programme and the project was implemented by the Albanian Development Fund.

“Construction of Arif Sula high school in Mamurras complete in a 100 % Albanian government-funded project implemented by Development Fund under Reconstruction Programme,” Ahmetaj said as he posted pictures showing the newly-built school.

The school building sustained structural damages due to the earthquake on November 26, 2019.

The school has 430 students and the new building features three storeys above the ground and a ground floor that houses the gym and sports grounds.

The new school has 13 classrooms, 4 laboratories and it is equipped with heating system.
