Minister of Education and Sports Ogerta Manastirliu on Saturday shared images of the refurbished building on social media, showing new classrooms, a library, laboratories and modern sports facilities.

“We are guaranteeing dignified conditions for students and teachers thanks to investments by the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Selenicë Municipality,” Manastirliu said.

Under the 2025 budget, around 70 – 80 education facilities are scheduled for construction or renovation, providing some 1,000 – 1,200 classrooms and laboratories to benefit about 20,000 – 25,000 students and 1,500 – 2,000 teaching staff.

Preparations continue nationwide to ensure schools are ready for the 2025–2026 academic year.
