According to the report published by the Financial Supervision Authority (FSA), the volume of the secondary market of government securities for 2021 was dominated at the extent of 58.13% by transactions of short-term instruments (treasury bills) and at the extent of 41.87% by transactions of long-term instruments (bonds).

Transactions of T-bills account for 79.06% of all transactions in secondary market of govt. securities.
Statistics of retail market of government securities for 2021 show a dominance of transactions “Purchase in the primary market” and “Repayment of nominal value at maturity” respectively by 50.60% and 33.92% against the total volume.

The participation in the secondary market of government securities for 2021 is dominated by individual investors, who carry out 98.21% of all transactions in this market.
