This activity, with the participation of delegations from scientific research institutions from around the world, aimed to shed light and elucidate the concept of scientific autonomy and similarity, through standard norms, analyzes and guidelines such as: “Recommendations in science and scientific researchers” from UNESCO and “A contemporary perspective on the practices of scientific freedom and responsibility in the 21st century.”

It will also address challenges that arise from the rapid development of science and technology, such as the disintegration of trust in science and the repercussions on the protection of scientists. Historical perspectives and regional approaches will also be explored. The goal is to find ways to reinforce the work of governments and key institutions through appropriate tools and frameworks for measuring progress.
