“There are some schools that have been divided into two lots. The schools reconstructed by the municipality of Tirana are one lot, where the works have run at a faster pace because there is even less bureaucracy, given that it is only one institution. Meanwhile, we have another package of schools, managed by the EU, which have a slightly longer procedure. We opened the “Leke Gjiknuri” school at the Madrasa.

Those who didn’t build any school, who even turned the Madrasa into offices for Water Supply Enterprise point the finger at us after we restored it to the students. For all the parents who asked about the “Emin Duraku” school, we were caught up in a situation carried over from the “glorious” years of the 90s, when an illegal construction was legalized and built adjacent to the school wall. But that situation has finally been resolved. We also received some questions from the opposition colleagues about the “Partizani” school. The procedure says we have to wait until the stage of complaints is exhausted. We are in the last week of the procedure to purchase all didactic materials and we will continue there. The same with “Xhezmi Delli”, “Asim Vokshi” and “Bedri Llagami”, said Veliaj, among others.

Meanwhile, work is in full swing in other schools, including those in the “Rilindja” district, in “Astir” and in Liqeni I Thate and Sauk area.
