TIRANA, Feb  9  /ATA/ The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inspected the works at the 9-year school “Xhezmi Delli,” which is being built back stronger and better than before.

Veliaj said that the school will be ready to welcome students in the new school year.

“For local government unit 3, especially for all parents who take their children to “Xhezmi Delli” school, this is a beautiful day. As you can see, the construction site is up and running. I know that parents have been waiting for this news for years on end. We have divided the schools into two lots: There was one lot of the Municipality of Tirana and the other lot of donors, such as UNDP and the European Union. The construction of this school is a donation as part of a package of other schools, such as “Besnik Sykja,” “Asim Vokshi” and “Emin Duraku.” “Due to the procedures of the European Union and UNDP, their construction took a little bit longer,” said Veliaj.
