Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of the renovated school on social media on Monday, describing the project as a transformation of the building into a modern and functional learning environment.

“The investment has transformed the school into a new, modern and functional space, with high safety standards and contemporary facilities, and above all, an environment where students can learn, discover their passions through the ‘After School’ programme and grow every day,” Rama said.

The renovated school will include modern classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities, a library and workrooms for teachers, as well as energy-efficiency measures, according to the government.

The renovation is part of efforts to improve learning conditions and education quality, while making public schools a greater focus of development in Elbasan.
