This school has transformed beyond recognition, thanks to the investment of the Ministry of Education and Sports offering modern settings for the students and teachers.

Speaking about the importance of this investment, Minister of Education and Sport, Ogerta Manastirliu stressed that “this is a school which was promised and delivered, thanks to the reconstruction program. Supporting children to develop their skills and competences is a priority. We will continue to support students and teachers through training and by improving working conditions. This is a job that requires the cooperation of everyone, community, parents and teachers.”

Minister Manastirliu also saw first-hand the process of giving out free textbooks to the students of the Picari school.

“It is an initiative that aims to provide relief for households, especially for categories in need. MoES is monitoring the entire process of distributing textbooks, to ensure that they are in the hands of students before the start of the new school year,” said Manastirliu.
