Koçiu emphasized that this hospital caters to about 120,000 residents, but also thousands of tourists who choose the city as their vacation destination.

During the conversation with the staff of doctors and nurses, Minister Koçiu emphasized the importance of increasing the number of services for citizens and tourists that the city of Saranda welcomes and sees off throughout the year.

“2024 will see another salary increase for GPs and nurses, which I believe will motivate the entire health care staff to provide quality service to the people. I avail myself of the opportunity to underscore the importance of showing humanity. Although we get into our daily routine, we must not forget that even a kind word heals, just like the work that a doctor does,” Minister Koçiu said.

She pointed out that the anti-flu vaccination is in full swing, with more than 2,200 doses administered so far in the Saranda Health Center. She also mentioned the HPV vaccination of young women.
Minister Koçiu stated that in Sarandë, the reconstruction of the outpatient clinic , which will soon be at the service of the citizens and the surrounding areas, is well underway.
