The task force is conducting regular inspections of hotels, beaches and swimming pools to ensure cleanliness and safety for local and foreign holidaymakers.

Minister Koçiu emphasized that, “Accommodation structures have the responsibility to ensure their hygiene and cleanliness”.

“It is imperative that we all be together in this process to guarantee public health and a pleasant experience for all visitors,” she said.

To ensure a safe and healthy tourist season, Minister Koçiu called for joint commitment and respect for hygiene and cleanliness standards from all relevant structures that provide services to holidaymakers.

Since the establishment of the task force, there have been inspected about 2,961 accommodation structures, including restaurants and swimming pools. /m.m/p.s./
