Ambassador Monster praised the progress made by Albania’s justice institutions, expressing her willingness to continue supporting this process. She particularly highlighted cooperation with the High Court of the Netherlands, as well as joint activities that have contributed to the exchange of experience and the strengthening of institutional capacities.
The President of the High Court, Sokol Sadushi, said that despite the ongoing challenges facing the justice system, the results achieved demonstrate that the High Court is gradually moving forward, taking steady steps and making sustained improvements.

He emphasised that over the past six years, the High Court has undergone significant processes of transformation and institutional consolidation. In this regard, Sadushi highlighted the importance of maintaining the performance achieved, particularly in reducing the backlog of pending cases, one of the High Court’s most significant achievements, which has also been recognised at policymaking level. He stressed that sustaining this progress remains essential to consolidating the Court’s performance and improving services for citizens.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to continuing cooperation between the justice institutions of the two countries, with a view to consolidating the results achieved and further advancing judicial reforms.
