The trial panel of the Special Appellate College composed of Sokol Çomo presiding, Rezarta Schuetz rapporteur, Albana Shtylla, Ina Rama, Natasha Mulaj members, handed down on Friday the decision after the appeal of prosecutor Hysen Keta against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission

At the end of the session, the trial panel, by a majority of votes, decided to reverse the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission for the prosecutor of Përmet, Hysen Keta, confirming him in office.

According to SAC, this decision is final and has immediate effect.

The Special Appellate College held on February 7 the public court session of the case regarding the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, related to the subject of re-evaluation Anita Jella, prosecutor / head of the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance , Durrës.

The chairperson of the session informed that at the request of the College, the Prosecution at Durres first- instance court had sent the information in the framework of the reports, information forwarded to the parties in the process.

After the agreement of the parties, the trial panel decided to administer as evidence the response sent by the Prosecution at the Durrës First-Instance Court, and decided to close the judicial investigation of the case, inviting the parties to present their final conclusions.

The Public Commissioner stated that it sticks to all the causes of the complaint and the submissions in the court hearings, assessing that the evidence and allegations submitted by the subject of the re-evaluation failed to prove the opposite of the complaint. The Public Commissioner requested the College to overrule the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission and in turn to dismiss the subject of re-evaluation, Anita Jella.

The subject of the re-evaluation, Anita Jella, objected to the reasons for the complaint of the Public Commissioner, stating that they are not based on law and evidence and that its final request is in violation of the principle of proportionality and objectivity.
