They met in Tirana to exhibit their products.
During the conversation with them, Denaj emphasized that this day should serve as a call to cooperate in increasing productivity, and to turn tradition into development.

According to her, strengthening the potential of women in rural communities and opening up new opportunities with funding or support, brings about a sustainable social and economic development for them.

“All these are part of a love and a fine work which have women behind them. And no matter how difficult it is, they have managed. I want to focus on the promotion of women, not only as a woman, but also as Minister of Agriculture. In this field, I believe that a woman’s strength is as great as a man’s. Even, in some cases underestimated, because in entrepreneurship, if we look at the statistics, only 25% are run by women”, said Minister Denaj, as she visited the stands with their products.

October 15 marks the International Day of Rural Women, which aims to recognize the contribution and role that women from rural areas have in the community, improving life and well-being as a whole.
