According to the announcement published on Monday by SPAK, the ruling of CCOC is handed down after the request filed by the Special Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime and Corruption. The request is based on law no. 10192 dated 03.12.2009, amended, “On preventing and combating organized crime, trafficking and corruption through preventive measures against assets.”

“The Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime submitted to the Court the request for the confiscation of the assets of the subject Guxim Zenelaj (former judge of the High Court). At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with decision no. 26 dated 06.10.2023, has ruled, among others, the confiscation and transfer in favor of the state of some assets”, announces SPAK.
