“The Ruble Alliance will continue to attack the Tourist Port of Durrës because of the payroll where they sign every day, because of hatred and betrayal towards Albania and its interests. There is no Albanian who has not understood that this attack by the opposition is a shame and a great humiliation to the detriment of the country’s interest”, said Balla in a post on social networks.

“A few days ago in the Greek parliament, a member country of the European Union, the opposition criticized the government for the loss of this investment, on the grounds that it is going to Albania and the Greek government did not take it for the Port of Thessaloniki. While in Albania, the opposition parties have competed with each other as to who attacks the government more for bringing this investment in Durrës”, stressed Balla.

Balla added that, “The project has an investment value of over 2 billion Euros with a direct economic impact, which includes all the income that will be generated from the development of this area, such as the income from the sale of apartments, the hotel, the anchoring of ships and yachts, etc”.

“The direct impact of the project also includes the employment of about 12,000 people, first in the construction of this area, then during its management, such as employment in hotels, restaurants, business and service units.
