The State Election Commissioner on Thursday’s meeting reviewed the report of the Audiovisual Media Authority as part of the media monitoring for the coverage of the election campaign in the period 26.03.2021 – 23.04.2021, as well as compliance with the electoral silence.

The Commissioner decided to impose 2,000,000 ALL penalty on ART (Public Broadcaster) because RTSH 2 and RTSH Kukës spin-off channels have breached the electoral silence by broadcasting chronicles on the activity of political entities in the election campaign.

Also, the State Election Commissioner decided to give the mandate of the deputy to the candidate of the multi-name list of the Social Democratic Party, Shkodra Region, Jetmira Rexhep Rraboshta.
