The State Police Director General thanked the ambassador for the visit, the contribution and the support for the State Police.

He introduced the ambassador to the standards he intends to establish as part of the effort to adopt a new approach to citizens, to the fight against organized crime and crime in general.

State Police Director General assured the ambassador that the very good cooperation so far will be further deepened, in order to fight organized crime, illegal traffic, the cultivation and trafficking of narcotics in a more effective way.

The increase of joint investigation groups, the timely exchange of information, overcoming any obstacles or bureaucracy, as well as the joint operations with the Italian Police, are the right ways to achieve better results.

The priorities of State Police are also the reform of the Security Academy according to the model of the Italian Security Academy and the strengthening of structures for cybercrime investigation.

Ambassador Fabrizio Bucci congratulated the new director of the State Police on his duty and assured him of the support of the Embassy and the Italian Police for deepening cooperation in the future, to fulfill the shared mission of uncompromising fight against organized crime, cybercrime and terrorism. /j.p/r.e/sm/
