Currently, the excavation, filling, works of engineering art, and construction of both the Dovolan and Melan bridges have been completed.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Saturday on social media images from this road segment, which is part of the Arbër Road.

Rama highlighted that the route will reduce the distance, making it possible to travel from the outskirts of Tirana to Peshkopi in just 1 hour.

The ongoing urban transformation in cities across the country not only shortens distances and enhances access to destinations, but it is also unleashing tourism potential in areas where agritourism and outdoor sports are rapidly booming.

Such is the Peshkopi-Maqellare road, which connects the Arbër Road with the center of the Dibër district. Work continues unabated at the construction site to complete this important investment within the set deadlines. Once delivered, it will significantly shorten the distance to the capital, making the trip possible in almost 1 hour, and will also boost the flow of visitors and tourists to the area.
