Veliaj said that these investments bring plenty of benefits to the residents of the area.

“This is one of the roads in dire need of investment. When you say Farka, Dajt or Kashar, you think of the first belt of rural Tirana, which has certainly benefited from urban planning, and from the material goods of urban Tirana, which has expanded far beyond the old yellow line, to bring wealth and increase property value in these area. Now we are in the second belt and when we say Petrelë, Ndroq, Pezë, Vaqarr, we mean the second belt of this development. Of course, the road brings plenty of advantages, the property value increases on both sides, residential buildings on one side, an incredible development thanks to the support of the government on the other. In a growing Tirana that is developing apace, once the Ring Road stretching from Farka down to the ‘helicopters’ was completed, the municipality and the government built an agro-food wholesale market propelling into development the whole area, as we have received requests to develop the area alongside the access infrastructure,” said Veliaj.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, emphasized that investments in the villages of Tirana spur the economy of the areas.

“The investment improves the living conditions for about 800 residents who live along this extraordinary segment lined by a wonderful nature, full of agro-tourism activities. This road also serves an economic chain for the area,” said Krifca.
