TIRANA, Aug  8 /ATA/ The construction of the Leusa road in Permet will help the residents and many tourists who choose to visit this tourist destination.

Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, said that the promise to build this road for the residents of Leusa, for Permeti peopple, but also for tourists, is already becoming a reality.

“The Leusa road is not just a village road, but also a tourist destination so much sought after, so much frequented, a trekking route for most tourists, who consider it as a “climbing adventure,” but this reduces the number of those wishing to visit an exquisite  village, with an extraordinary church, with original alleyways, with a rare panoramic view, a village where the first business of guesthouses has started to take off,” she said.

Kumbaro added that there are other routes that deserve to be refurbished for the same reasons, and we will work hard for this.

“The Municipality of Përmet with the support of the government through the Albanian Development Fund is transforming Përmet into a year-round tourism destination,” said Kumbaro.
