Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Sunday on social media images of this important axis, which is also the first lot of the Blue Corridor.

Rama emphasized that this is a road axis that serves everyone and the further development of tourism.

“With this flight over Thumanë-Kashar to enjoy what has been built on the ground, a road axis that is of service to us all and the further development of tourism, being accessible to everyone from today at 19:00hrs,” Rama wrote on his social media account.

Thumane-Kashar is the axis of category A, where the speed of movement will be 130 kilometers per hour, also offering high safety driving conditions.

The flow of vehicles on this axis is expected to be very high, especially during the tourist season. Once it is set to operation, the vehicle traffic that builds up on the existing axes, such as Fushë Krujë-Rinas and Rinas-Qafë Kashar will significantly ease.
