Prime Minister Edi Rama shared Tuesday on social media images from this investment, which tackles the risk of soil erosion in this area.

Rama emphasized that this investment averts the risk of flooding in the villages of Kuç and Vukatane, Guri i Zi Administrative Unit.

Drini is the longest river not only of our country, but also of the Western Balkans with a total catchment area of 14173 km2 and at a length of 285 km.

This river is formed by the confluence of the Black Drin, which originates from Lake Ohrid, at a height of 694 m, running a route of 40 km outside the territory of our country.
