Prime Minister Edi Rama shared on Friday images from the work on this construction site, which will significantly ease the traffic congestion around the capital.

“Good morning and with the work that continues uninterruptedly for the radical transformation of Tirana’s entrance, I wish you a good day,” – said Rama.

Currently, the works are in the third phase with 200 workers engaged on its construction site. The work is running at high rates for construction of the tunnels.

So far, 54% of the works on this important junction have completed.

The project on Tirana’s Ring Road will significantly improve the traffic flows in the capital taking the pressure off the existing roads, improve the view of one of the most important junctions and boost the attractiveness of the surrounding area. The construction of this public work is planned to go through 5 phases.
