TIRANA, Jan 13 /ATA/ Construction is in full swing on two ring roads of Durres city, aimed at improving traffic flow for both vehicles and pedestrians.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images from this construction site today, describing it as one of the most important investments in recent years.

Rama emphasized that the construction of these routes will propel the development of areas where they are being built.

“These new ring roads, which will connect the Currila area with ‘Aleksandër Goga’ street, will significantly ease traffic and have a positive impact on development of the areas where they are being constructed,” said Rama.

The Spitallë-Currila ring road will feature four lanes and a bike lane, whereas the Hospital-Currila ring road will include two lanes, a bike lane, and parking.
