Minister of Defence Niko Peleshi appreciated that, “This is one of the most interesting weapons in the Museum of the Armed Forces.

“It is a Venetian product and was used in Albania in the early seventeenth century until the middle of the eighteenth century,” explained further Peleshi.

In the video Peleshi shared in the social media, it is underlined that, “This weapon was used by Albanian fighters independently. The name in Albanian is “Karajfile”, but it is thought to be a distortion in Albanian of the engraved name of the firm of the manufacturer “Carlo & Figli” on the butt of this weapon”./a.a/r.e/p.s./
