CSC members accepted the arguments set forth by the legal representative that the Municipality of Tirana started reporting data on its activities immediately after data creation on the CEC website and that the houses inspected due to his duty as Mayor were budgeted before 24 December 2020, the date when the decision banning such budgets came into force.

“The responsible person was appointed on January 7, 2021 and the following reports were found to be in accordance with the law and in these circumstances we have no administrative responsibility, so we decided to revoke the fine on Erion Veliaj in the amount of 35 thousand ALL for failure to report the activities.”
