Prime Minister Edi Rama published a photo album featuring images of this activity organized by RETRO Albania and the General Directorate of Road Transport Service.

“Retro on the” carpet” of Shiroka” – said Rama, as he shared photos from this event, which is taking place in Shiroka, 6 km from Shkodra, already turned into a tourist centre after the restoration carried out under Urban Renaissance project.

Thanks to this investment, Shiroka has become a tourist centre that offers entertainment and social events in the service of the community. While the parade of RETRO vehicles from the Albanian collection, is an added value for the tourist season in this area famed for natural beauty where the reconstructed 20,000 m2 plaza has been paved with ornaments and traditional motifs.

Retro, in itself is considered a show of economic, social and cultural value. In Albania, there is a considerable number of vintage vehicles, but because there was no legal act to protect and promote this passion, they have never been on display.
