She added that they will also receive the second bonus from the fund raised from collections of the extraordinary tax on energy producers.
Balluku made this statement during a meeting with retirees in Dibra.
More than 650,000 pensioners will benefit pension increase and the bonus.

“We have crafted a program on salary increase, which will reach 900 euros in these years, starting with the most essential professions to continue with the entire administration. Retirees are a priority for us. Last year we indexed the pension by 9.5%. There will be another indexation of pensions at the end of September this year based on inflation,” she said.

According to Balluku, the revenues of 4.1 billion that have been collected from the extraordinary energy tax will be distributed to pensioners through an additional bonus of 5 thousand lek.

“You will also receive the second installment, which has the same value as that of April and then in September, on top of the indexation, you will receive the second bonus that comes from the second part of the extraordinary taxation. It is at the center of our policy to care about pensioners,” said Balluku.
