The Director-General of the Social Insurance Institute, Astrit Hado told Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) that the Institute has completed crediting and the year-end bonus of 5000 lek is now available for 695 101 retirees to withdraw starting today.

Hado underlined that a year-end cash gift of 11,000 lek will be granted to more than 66,000 disability pensioners.

The head of the Social Insurance Institute also said that a bonus of 5,000 lek is also available to the families under the social welfare benefit scheme, as well as to all paraplegics and tetraplegics.

The government has allocated a total of 4.3 billion lek or around $43 million to provide a year-end cash gift to hundreds of thousands retirees, people with disabilities and families in need.
