Speaking to reporters outside Parliament, Gogu said criminal responsibility is individual, adding that the government had assumed political responsibility by deciding to dismiss Hyseni from her post as head of SHISH.

“Political responsibility has been assumed, with a new director now leading SHISH pending the appointment of a permanent head. Criminal responsibility is individual, and those involved must be subject to the relevant legal proceedings,” Gogu said.

According to him, the government dismissed the head of the institution following the allegations and ensured the continuity of the institution’s operations.

“As for what happened within the institution, we must wait for the entire process to unfold. Political responsibility means taking charge to ensure that the institution continues to carry out its work,” he stressed.
