“Albania strongly supports and expresses solidarity with the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people in its efforts for the non-negotiable values of freedom, democracy and sovereignty. We stand by Ukraine. The war must end to the benefit of all”, says the MEFA statement.

When the Russian troops launched the aggression against Ukraine 1 year ago, Albania was among the first countries to rally behind the Ukrainian people.
