PRISTINA, December 3 /ATA/- Beginning from today, every citizen entering Kosovo must produce a two-dose vaccination certificate against COVID-19.

Otherwise, persons not vaccinated with both doses will not be allowed to enter the territory of Kosovo.

Government of Kosovo took the decision at the beginning of December 2021, when it approved the new anti-COVID-19 measures.

However, people who have not received the two doses of the vaccine will be able to be vaccinated at the venues of the “Adem Jashari” airport and at the border crossings in Vermica, Merdare, Dheu i Bardhë and Hani i Elezit.

“Every person entering the Republic of Kosovo must possess one of the following evidences: Vaccination certificate for complete (two-dose) vaccination against COVID-19; Vaccination certificate for single dose vaccination, not older than four (4) weeks, together with negative RT-PCR test for COVID-19, not older than 48 hours; The vaccination certificate for one-dose vaccination together with the evidence that the person has passed COVID-19 (positive RT-PCR test issued not less than 21 days and not more than 180 days)”, it is stated in the government decision.

But, even though evidence of two-dose vaccination is mandatory to enter Kosovo, still there are exceptions to the rule.

“Thus, persons who enter Kosovo through the airport or through land border crossing points and leave Kosovo within three (3) hours”./p.s./
