The Chief Commissioner of the State Election Commission, Ilirjan Celibashi, during a press conference, provided details regarding the registration of out of country voters, stating that so far, 397 applications have been submitted.

Celibashi stated that the requests have been categorized by country, with Italy leading with 97 requests, followed by Germany with 81 requests, the United Kingdom with 51 requests, Greece with 36 requests, the United States with 23 requests, as well as other countries from around the world.

“Requests have been submitted through the PER system from all around the world,” emphasized Celibashi.

The Chief Commissioner emphasized that “the system has functioned perfectly.”

Referring to the data for municipalities, Celibashi stated, “There are 117 requests for Tirana, 27 for Durrës, 19 for Vlora, 15 for Kurbin, as well as requests from other municipalities across the country.”

“The geography of the requests also appears to be broad, covering nearly all municipalities of Albania,” said Celibashi.
