“I am extremely proud of this team because I truly believe that this team represents the entire Tirana region. We’ve offered voters of all age groups a broad spectrum of choices, offered women and girls a variety of options to elect their representative in the Albanian Parliament, given young people the opportunity to make their choice while feeling included in this team, and, undoubtedly, we’ve given all professionals the chance to vote for the Socialist Party and elect from this team a woman, a man, a girl, or a boy, confident they will be represented with dignity,” said Rama.

The Prime Minister referred to the Socialist Party’s team as the newest one on the large ballot paper for Tirana. “A new party, but one that has been tested, bringing all the experience from years of governance, offering the citizens of Tirana the opportunity to look ahead through the new, while feeling confident that our path forward is secure through experience. Both of these elements, together, are not easy to achieve, and both can only be found in the Socialist Party’s offer,” the Prime Minister continued.

“On all others, to the left and right of the ballot, symbolically, we are in the middle. They are either rotten or completely inexperienced, to put it mildly. Casting your vote anywhere other than the SP box, where number 5 is, is essentially throwing your vote away,” said Rama.

“On this journey towards May 11th, everyone will have the opportunity to listen and ask in detail what we aim to do, not just on a national level, but also at the level of every community,” emphasized Rama.

The Prime Minister mentioned that the Socialist Party has many accomplishments under its belt from years of governance, so much so that even entire days wouldn’t be enough to list them all.

“We are cognizant that there are still significant problems to address, still wounds to heal, and much work to be done. However, in these elections, there is something beyond all of this, and here I want to focus again: there is something beyond the daily needs of every community, something that goes beyond my generation, ours, and something that is directly linked not just to our party, nor to any other party, but to the European future of Albania,” said Rama.
