Çano, who also serves as National Coordinator for the Reform and Growth Facility, took part in the “Tirana Connectivity Forum 2026” alongside Bojan Vujović, Montenegro’s National Coordinator for the Reform Agenda.

Two years into the implementation of the Reform and Growth Facility (RGF), Çano said the focus had shifted from completing activities to achieving measurable results, supported by evidence, institutional accountability and independent verification.

According to Çano, “as part of its third official reporting package, Albania has assessed 38 reform steps as completed, with around €215 million in funding linked to them.”

Meanwhile, Çano said total disbursements from the two previous reporting packages, together with pre-financing funds, had reached €212.8 million.

“The message regarding future EU instruments was clear: greater coherence, predictability and flexibility, with results and accountability remaining non-negotiable,” she said.
