TIRANA, March  15 /ATA/ – By  I. Vata/ On Wednesday, the Central Elections Commission drew lots to appoint the relater for handling of the Democratic Party complaint by the Appeals and Sanctions Commission.

 

Koli Bele was appointed by lot as the relater of the appeal filed by DP.

Yesterday, the State Commissioner of Elections examined the request of the political party “Democratic Party of Albania” for registration as an electoral subject in the May 14, 2023 local elections.

At the end of the review, the Commissioner with decision no. 172, dated 14.03.2023 ruled not to accept the request for the registration of the Democratic Party of Albania with chairman Lulzim Basha, as an electoral subject for the  May 14, 2023 local elections.

The legal representative of the DP in the CEC, Indrit Sefa, filed a complaint with the KAS yesterday against the decision of the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi.
