In a press statement after a regular cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu said that today’s decision is of crucial importance for all patients receiving medicines and treatment for their diagnosis”.

“Current list of 1191 reimbursed drugs is expanded to include 50 more medicines, of which  38 are active ingredients, and 18 new doses,” Koçiu clarified.

Health Minister underlined that the new list of includes 1345 medicines reimbursed by the state budget that provide support for oncologic, diabetic, cardiovascular and pneumonic patients and a number of other important pathologies.
