The Director of the General Directorate of the Customs noted that the volume of cargo and goods due to be handled in April are estimated to total to around 270,000 metric tons of solid cargoes and over 120,000 tons of petroleum goods.

The head of the customs administration noted that the processing capacity at ports has increased by 35% in one year.

“The 35% increase in handling capacities in one year, the reduction of the processing time of cargoes and fulfillment of the technical conditions has turned this port into a reference point for the entire regional market in only 3 years of activity, competing with the ports throughout the region,” Gazheli said.
