Kukës Regional Administration of Protected Areas announced on Monday that, the fire flames have been completely isolated. The blaze appeared near the top of Gjallica mountain on the dividing line between forest and pasture in Korab-Koritnik nature park.

Despite the difficult terrain about 4-5 hours away from the road, the staff of Kukës Regional Administration of Protected Areas in cooperation with some residents of Administrative Unit of Shtiqën managed to isolate in time the fire flames, which could have gotten out of control if the intervention had not been made immediately.
