In his remarks, Rama said that, “I believe that you are aware of the fact that this is a process that extends throughout the territory of the Republic of Albania, throughout the body of the Socialist Party, and it is a process that is dictated by the necessity of opening, renewing and invigorating the Socialist Party beyond the old party boundaries in the territory.”

Rama emphasized that, “it is very important that we all be aware that the progress made in the economy, the progress made in justice, the progress in Albania’s reputation in international arena has opened a new door for Albania that should not be closed.”

“Our governance cycle is an open cycle, which means that all reform sites are up and running, which means that to ensure their successful completion, we must do whatever in our capacity to achieve the strategic objectives of the vision of Albania 2030,” said Rama.

“We have entered the EU accession negotiation process. Yet the negotiations with the European Union are not really negotiations. In fact, they are what the European Union requires, and what we must do. We need to guarantee a stable governing majority, capable of taking decisions in the follow-up for continuation of reforms,” concluded Rama.
