Rama explained that the essence of Fiscal Peace lies in an agreement with businesses to establish a new profit ceiling. He noted that, based on scientific projections of past profits, anticipated economic growth, and a mutually accepted figure for annual profit, the tax administration and entrepreneurs will reach consensus, eliminating the need for inspections and controls.
Rama went on saying that bureaucratic procedures frequently place a heavier burden than taxation itself. He described Fiscal Peace as a framework designed to energize entrepreneurship, advance economic formalization, and streamline business processes.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that by relieving businesses of the burden of past shortcomings and by establishing a forward-looking understanding agreement with the tax administration, companies will gain far greater energy to concentrate on their work.
Rama emphasized that this approach ensures businesses are not overwhelmed by bureaucratic procedures or by inspections and controls, which often impose a considerable burden.
